“QR and Caboolture Sports Club are collectively investing $175,000 to link their existing car parks by a new driveway and pedestrian footpath,” Mr Ryan said.
“The work began on October 17 and the new shared parking arrangements will take effect from the end of November.”
Mr Ryan said the agreement allowed for overflow from the station car park to use the sports club in peak capacity times.
“There is high demand at Morayfield Station car park from 7.30am on weekdays, when the sports club is usually empty.
“Conversely, the sports club car park experiences peak capacity at weekends and after business hours when the station car park has available spaces.
Caboolture Sports Club CEO Kelvin Patch welcomed the move, which will share the club’s 374 spaces.
