A liquidator has started looking into why a disability service provider north of Brisbane closed its doors this month, owing $1 million to the Australian Taxation Office.

Family Inclusive Pty Ltd recently entered voluntary liquidation.

The disability and support services organisation commenced trading in February 2023 and closed its doors on August 4.

While the business’s location is listed at 30-36 Dickson Rd, Caboolture South, liquidators said the company exited that location some time ago.

Jarvis Archer from Business Reset said a number of employees were affected, and he was working with them to arrange payment of their outstanding entitlements.

“The major creditor of the company is the Australian Taxation Office which is owed in excess of $1 million,” Mr Archer said.

“Generally speaking, our office has assisted a number of NDIS providers that have struggled to meet ATO obligations following the rapid growth across the sector.

“The liquidator’s investigations have only just commenced and those inquiries are ongoing.

“The findings of these investigations will be included in the liquidator’s statutory report to be issued in the coming months.”

The business’ website domain has been disconnected.
