A woman has sustained face and arm injuries in a dog attack north of Brisbane
A woman is being treated for face and arm injuries after an “aggressive dog” attacked her and her pet north of Brisbane this morning.

A woman is recovering in hospital after being bitten by a dog, while out walking, north of Brisbane this morning.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to Beach Rd, at Deception Bay, at about 8.10am today.
The woman, had injuries to her face and arms.

The spokesman said she was being taken to Redcliffe Hospital in a stable condition.
Beach Rd, is very close to the Deception Bay off-leash dog beach.
A Moreton Bay Regional Council spokesman said council received multiple calls about the incident.
“Council officers responded immediately,” the spokesman said.
“A woman was walking her dog along Beach Rd in Deception Bay when an unrestrained animal without an owner jumped on her, attacked her arm and back. It also attacked the victim’s pet.”
The spokesman said the “aggressive” animal had been impounded at Dakabin Pound.
He said they were still working to identify the animal’s owner.
