A MAN has been charged with attempted murder over an alleged stabbing this morning in Petrie.
Around 11am, police were called to a Young Street address after a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the back during an altercation with another man.
The man was transported from a separate Anzac Avenue address in Kallangur to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital a short time later, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
A 22-year-old Shailer Park man has been charged with one count of attempted murder and will appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on Monday, June 15.
