Moreton Bay man to face court over alleged Caboolture carjacking
A woman has been dragged from her car in one of an alleged spate of violent carjacking acts in Moreton Bay, according to police.

A Moreton Bay man will face court next month, charged by police after an alleged violent carjacking spree throughout Caboolture yesterday.
Officers from the Caboolture Criminal Investigation Branch have arrested a 35-year-old Caboolture man after an alleged string of offences at Caboolture and Beachmere yesterday.
Shortly after midday, police attended Matthew Terrace at Caboolture where it is alleged two men were involved in a struggle with the 35-year-old man, who allegedly stole their personal belongings before running across the street and stealing a Rav 4.
The owner of the vehicle, a 29-year-old woman, was in the process of reversing her car when it is alleged the 35-year-old man opened the door and dragged her from the vehicle before driving off towards King St.
At 12.15pm, it is alleged the 35-year-old man approached a vehicle parked on Beachmere Road, while the driver was inside the car making a phone call, and punched the driver in the face before attempting to open the door.
The driver allegedly accelerated the vehicle and was able to get away.
A short time later, the 35-year-old man allegedly flagged down a vehicle driving west towards Caboolture and attempted to open the door and reach for the vehicle keys, but was unsuccessful.
The 35-year-old man allegedly flagged down a second vehicle on Beachmere Rd and attempted to steal the driver’s bag and vehicle, but was unsuccessful.
It is further alleged the man fled to a nearby property and again attempted to a steal a vehicle where he was refused by the owner to hand over the keys.
The man allegedly fled the property before being found and arrested by police nearby.
The Rav 4 was recovered on Beachmere Rd.
The 35-year-old Caboolture man was charged with four counts of unlawful entry to a motor vehicle with intent to commit an indictable offence, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, four counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery and attempted entry to a premises.
He is set to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on February 20.
