Pacific Mwy at Loganholme clears after two-car crash jams peak hour

Traffic has cleared on the Pacific Motorway after a peak-hour two-car crash blocked the southbound lanes for more than an hour early on Thursday.

Congestion on the Pacific Motorway southbound has cleared after a two-car crash near Loganholme during the early-morning peak.

Traffic was banked up for more than 2km near the Logan River Bridge back to Loganholme with further congestion backed up to Daisy Hill.

The snarl arose after a ute and a sedan collided before the Logan River Bridge after the Grandis St exit.

Ambulance officers said they were taking a man to the Logan Hospital after the incident but no other injuries were reported.

Police were also on the scene.

Traffic was heavily impacted while the southbound lanes were cleared of debris with vehicles back to Tanah Merah and gridlock at Daisy Hill.
