Truck and car crash causes delays on Pacific Motorway, Slacks Creek

One of Brisbane’s busiest stretches of road south of the city is experiencing a lane blockage, following a truck and car crash on the onramp.

Two people have been taken to hospital following a truck and car crash on the onramp of a major southeast motorway this morning, which is causing motorists headaches.

Emergency services were called to a truck and vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway, Slacks Creek, northbound near exit 24, at 6.53am.

Police have blocked one northbound lane of the motorway and have advised motorists to expect delays and seek an alternative route.

A stable patient was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and another stable patient was transported to Logan Hospital

A police spokesperson said everybody involved in the onramp crash ‘seems to be okay’ but a lot of traffic backup is expected.
