Police charged a 17-year-old after a series of break-ins at properties in Beenleigh overnight.
It will be alleged the teen stabbed a 51-year-old man in the neck after forcing his way into his Narraport Crescent house and demanding the keys to a car.
Polair was called to track the car and a tyre deflation device was used on Bardon Rd at Logan Central, just before 8pm.

Police said before the stabbing, the teen had allegedly broken into a Church St residence and held a knife to another 17-year-old boy’s throat while demanding property.
He left the residence after allegedly stealing several items from the house.
Shortly after 7pm, the teenager approached a 23-year-old man in the yard of a Saratoga St property and unsuccessfully demanded the keys to a car.
The 17-year-old boy was charged with attempt to murder, attempted burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He has also been charged with two counts of armed robbery and burglary and is due to appear in Beenleigh Children’s Court this month.
