Students laughing as man chases with weapon near Marsden KFC
Police are investigating after several videos were posted to social media showing a man wearing a bike helmet and wielding a weapon clashing with high school students, south of Brisbane, including confronting footage of the man allegedly being set upon by the state school students.

This is one of the videos taken when a man, wearing a bike helmet, clashed with Marsden State High School students on Monday afternoon.

Police are investigating this footage along with two other videos.
One video, not published here, shows students kicking a man.
This video, shows a man riding his bike near KFC on Chambers Flat Rd at Marsden, while students are laughing.
The man, wearing a bike helmet, gets off his bike, drops it on the ground before he starts chasing a student who rides away on a bike.
The footage shows the man holding a bar-like weapon, which is being investigated along with allegations of a taser being involved.
Other footage shared on social media shows three Marsden students appearing to attack a man wearing a bike helmet.
The man is seen in the video being repeatedly knocked to the ground, allegedly by students.
The video also allegedly shows a man being kicked and punched.
It’s believed those incidents took place outside school grounds.
Queensland Education said the department was aware of an incident involving a group of Marsden State High School students which took place on Monday afternoon in the vicinity of the school.
“The school will continue to co-operate with the Queensland Police Service’s ongoing investigation into this matter,” a statement said.
“Counselling and guidance support is being provided to any students affected.”
Police said the causes of the confrontation would be investigated.
