Cannabis plants seized in Cedar Vale drug raid

Police have released a startling video showing a semi-naked man watching officers uncover an indoor cannabis farm during a raid on a rural Logan property.

The video shows police counting out $50 notes on an unmade bed at the Cedar Vale house, while the semi-naked man looks on.

More than $2000 was seized from the Champney Court address along with 22 cannabis plants, special heat lamps, electrical transformers and other drug-making chemicals and utensils.

Police arrested and later charged a 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman.

Both were taken into custody and are due to front Beenleigh Magistrates Court in September.

Police are asking all residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities in rural settings.
