Springwood AFC is preparing for its biggest day of the season on Saturday when its hosts Caloundra in the annual indigenous round.
Thousands were expected to flock to the ground for the pre-game ceremony which starts at around 1.30pm before the first bounce at 2pm.
It is the third year the club has hosted the celebration.

President Adrian Wallin said the event was regarded by QAFL as the best outside of the AFL.
A special themed jumper had been designed for the occasion.
“They (QAFL) were told it was the best indigenous celebration outside of the AFL and encouraged us to do it again,’’ he said.
“It is easily, by far and away, our biggest day of the year.
“Last year we had people from the community that had nothing to do with the club or Australian rules football coming along and getting photos on the ground.’’
To mark the occasion, a 15m by 20m Aboriginal flag had been painted on one of the wings of the ground, while one of the goal squares will feature the Torres Strait flag painted on the ground and the other goalsquare the indigenous flag.
In addition, the 50m lines at either end of the ground will be done in the aboriginal and Torres Strait Island colours.
The ceremony will start at 1.30 with a welcome to country and smoking ceremony and will include performances from the Yerongpan Aboriginal Dancers.
