Police have charged a man with 11 drug related offences after meth, cocaine and around $30,000 in cash were among the items seized in a drug raid on a property just south of Brisbane.
The Logan District Tactical Crime Squad allegedly found 1.86kg of methylamphetamine along with 34.4g of cocaine, 500g of cannabis and 1.5L of liquid fantasy after executing a search warrant at a house in Rochedale South round 6pm on January 29.
Police allege the methylamphetamine was found in a series of clip seal bags with some concealed in a canister in a sports bag.
Approximately $30,000 cash along with scales, clip seal bags and glass pipes were also allegedly seized.
Rochedale South man, Benjamin Chin, 31, was arrested and charged.
He was refused bail and appeared in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, where he was remanded in custody until March.
His charges include:
– 3 X Possessing dangerous drugs
– 1 X Possessing dangerous drugs (schedule 1 of or exceeding schedule 4)
– 1 X Possessing dangerous drugs (schedule 1 of or exceeding schedule 3)
– 1 X Possess relevant substance
– 1 X Possess tainted property
– 1 X Possess property suspected to be proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act
– 1 X Possess property suspected used in connection with the commission of a drug offence
– 1 X Possess ammunition and one count of contravene order.
