A woman is in a serious condition and will be flown by rescue helicopter to hospital in Brisbane after being crushed by a horse she had been riding.
Paramedics were called to a rural property at Biddaddaba, about 70km southwest of Brisbane, just after noon.
They said the woman had suffered serious injuries, including to her arm, chest and pelvis and was having difficulty breathing.
Crews drove to Chantelle Pl, near horse breeding stud Pacific Performance Horses, where it is believed the woman had been riding in bushy terrain inaccessible to vehicles.
QG Air 500 helicopter was called to access the injured woman and speed up getting her to hospital.
Paramedics said the woman had been riding down an embankment when she sustained the injuries.
