Emergency crews are working to free an elderly man trapped underneath a tractor after it rolled down a gully near a busy round south of Brisbane

Emergency services are working to free an elderly man trapped underneath a tractor on Beaudesert Nerang Road.

Emergency services freed an elderly man trapped underneath a tractor on a busy southeast Queensland road.

Paramedics and fire crews were called to Beaudesert Nerang Rd at Tabragalba just before 3pm after a tractor rolled down a gully and flipped over, trapping the elderly man underneath.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics considered calling a rescue chopper to transport the man to hospital as fire crews prepared to free him.

The elderly man was transported stable to Logan Hospital.

Queensland Police couldn’t confirm if there were any road closures but said traffic was likely to be impacted.
