Emergency declaration revoked after suspicious device found at Logan
Two people have been arrested after a “suspicious device” was detonated at a home south of Brisbane, causing three other homes to be evacuated.

Two people have been arrested after police found a “suspicious device” in a home near Logan on Friday morning.
Police have confirmed a man and woman were arrested following the search of an address in New Beith at Logan.
It is alleged drugs and stolen property were located at the site during the search, along with a device which they said could have been a bomb.
Police declared an emergency exclusion zone on Equestrian Drive at 2.20pm as the Explosive Ordnance Response Team investigated the device.
It is understood they evacuated three homes in the vicinity of the address.
Police fully revoked the emergency declaration and its exclusion zones at 4.50pm, having detonated the device at the scene.
There is no ongoing threat to the community and no injuries have been reported.
Investigations are continuing.
