Police charge another man in relation to body in barrel death

A FOURTH person has been charged in relation to the death of Sandgate teenager Larrisa Beilby.
Yesterday, Logan detectives laid five charges against a 32-year-old Mountain Creek man.
He was charged with accessory after the fact to murder, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, supplying dangerous drugs, possession of property obtained from supply of dangerous drugs and contravening an order.
The 32-year-old is the fourth person charged after Miss Beilby’s body was found inside the barrel in the back of a black ute in Stapylton on June 27.
In the wake of Miss Beilby’s death, police launched Operation Quebec Jagger and charged Zlatko Sikorsky with murder and misconduct with a corpse, after a siege lasting more than 24 hours ended with the 34-year-old’s surrender.
The Shailer Park man has since been charged with another 16 offences.
Two others, a 40-year-old Palmwoods woman and a 38-year-old Alexandra Headland man, were charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
The Mountain Creek man is scheduled to appear at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on August 29.
