New details on the criminal history of motorcyclist Dylan Brennan have surfaced following the accident which claimed his life earlier this week.
Paramedics including the High Acuity Response Unit attended the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old woman, was assessed by paramedics and transported to Logan Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries. It is understood she is no longer in hospital, but has been left traumatised by the accident.
Members of the community rendered first aid to Dylan Brennan, but he died at the scene.
It is understood Brennan was subject to parole at the time of the crash, after spending some time in custody and being released in late 2021.
Police allege Brennan was driving on a SPER suspended licence which ranged from May 12, 2020 to May 12, 2022.
He was also riding his motorcycle on the wrong side of the road and was speeding significantly, police have alleged.
Police have also revealed Brennan was well known to them, and has previously faced various hooning, speeding, and drug charges.
The Forensic Crash Unit is still investigating and police are awaiting results to determine whether there were any drugs in Brennan’s system at the time of the crash.
