Man trapped after Logan truck and car crash

A man is in a serious condition after it took emergency services 30 minutes to free him from the wreckage of a multi-vehicle crash south of Brisbane.

Emergency services have worked for 30 minutes to free a man from his car after it collided with a truck at Logan on Friday morning.

Paramedics arrived at the scene at Stoney Camp Road and Teviot Road in Greenbank about 6.01am to discover the man trapped suffering leg and abdominal injuries, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said two crews attended the crash and used cutting gear to help free the man.

The man has been transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with the critical care team.

“The driver of the truck was able to remove themselves from their vehicle,” the QAS spokeswoman said.

Queensland Police said the road is not closed but traffic flow may be impacted.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
