Long-time Logan Chamber president steps aside for dental practice owner

A SOUTHSIDE Chamber of Commerce is set for some changes after three major office bearers stepped aside for new blood at Wednesday’s annual general meeting.

LONGSTANDING president of the Logan Chamber of Commerce Bill Richards has stepped aside.

Mr Richards, pictured with long-serving member Barry Lane, had held the position for 10 years.

At Wednesday’s annual general meeting, Mr Richards was made a life member of the chamber along with Peter Forday and Graeme Pascoe.

The chamber’s new president is Springwood businesswoman Natasha Hobson (pictured below) who co-owns Alita Dental, off Chatswood Rd.

Ms Hobson has worked in the dental field since 1997 as dental assistant, practice manager and receptionist.

She has been a co-owner of Alita Dental since 2011.

She has been an active member of the Logan Chamber of Commerce and said she loved adding to her already substantial knowledge about team-building practices.

Along with Ms Hobson, the incoming team includes Shane Holley, Stewart Fleming and James Stokes.
