Months of imprisonment beckon a young hairdresser hopeful should she add to her “quite lengthy” criminal history of using stolen vehicles, a court has heard.

A 20-year-old who twice drove as a passenger in cars she was “well aware” were stolen faces the prospect of months in prison should she reoffend.

Loganlea woman Pascalle Sara Millar pleaded guilty to 11 charges when she appeared at Beenleigh Magistrates Court.

They included two counts of unlawful use of a vehicle, possessing dangerous drugs and breach of bail.

The court heard Pascalle was 19 years old in 2020 when between May 19 – 21 in Woodridge, and on June 19 in Calamvale she drove as a passenger in stolen vehicles.

Police prosecutor Tim Wise said her offending was aggravated for occurring while on probation for previous offences of using stolen vehicles.

A sentence of six to nine months’ suspended jail was urged by the prosecution.

Defence solicitor Katherine Hanson said her client did not dispute the facts, was currently unemployed and planned on becoming a hairdresser.

Magistrate Ron Kilner noted the young woman had “quite a lengthy” criminal history and was “getting close to imprisonment”.

The court further heard Pascalle was “well aware” the vehicles were stolen.

Pascalle was sentenced to six months’ prison wholly suspended for 12 months.
