Police are investigating reports of an ‘out of control’ mass hooning event south of Brisbane at the weekend.

Police are investigating reports of an ‘out of control’ mass hooning event near Marsden in Logan on Saturday (March 25).

Police responded to reports of a large group of people apparently commiting traffic-related offences and driving in a dangerous manner on Bourke St about 3pm.

Multiple crews attended and declared an it an out-of-control event, before moving people on without further incident.

Investigations are under way.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision or CCTV of the gathering to come forward.
