Polling booths across Logan have been very quiet following two weeks of record pre-polling voting.
ECQ Commissioner Pat Vidgeon said he expected most people to vote this morning before storms are forecast to roll in across the southeast.
He said he expected about 900,000 people were to cast their votes today at the 1300 booths set up across the state.
In Logan, the queues depleted just before 9am after polls opened at 8am.
Police said it was unsual as they had not been called to any booths in the southeast this morning.

LOGAN BOOTH:
Voters at the new Yarrabilba State Secondary College lined up before 8am but the queue was gone within an hour. Voters said roads and planning were the main issues.
