The principal of a Brisbane criminal law firm who refers to herself on social media as the “Well Heeled Criminal Lawyer” is off the road for a month after she was busted drug driving by an organised crime gangs group task-force.

Appearing at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday KA Criminal Law principal Kylie Anne Ward, 42, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while under the influence of drugs.

According to court documents, Ward was intercepted by officers from Taskforce Maxima, from the state’s Crime and Intelligence Command’s Organised Crime Gangs Group on February 14 on Baker St in Slacks Creek.

While Ward was stopped by Taskforce Maxima police, there was no suggestion she had any link to criminal organisation.

Saliva tests confirmed she had illicit drugs in her system at the time.

Court documents further stated it followed a previous drug drive last year.

According to the documents, Pine Rivers police highway patrol intercepted Ward on Gympie Rd in Strathpine on November 22.

A saliva test proved she had cannabis in her system on that occasion.

Ward was fined $350 and disqualified from driving for one month, with no convictions recorded.

She is scheduled to face further drug-related charges at Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 4.
