A Logan man’s alleged crime spree has seen him remain behind bars as he was allegedly found with 100g of meth, eight illegal firearms and stolen chainsaws.

Jake Thomas Wallen faced Beenleigh Magistrates Court on April 22 for a raft of drug and dishonesty offences.

The 32-year-old Loganholme man was charged with eight counts of unlawful supply of weapons, two counts of trafficking dangerous drugs and 34 counts of supplying dangerous drugs.

Mr Wallen was also charged with serious assault of a person over 60 and five counts of possession of property connected with an offence under the drug misuse act.

A search warrant was executed at Shailer Park on March 21 and police allege an extensive amount of stolen property was located.

Police said they are working to reunite the seized property with its owners.

The items include concrete saws, chainsaws, hedge trimmers and blowers.

Police also allege Mr Wallen was found in possession of 100g of methamphetamine.

He was charged for trafficking the drug on dates between March 2022 and March 2023 in Loganholme.

Police allege he also unlawfully supplied weapons on May 21, 2022 in the same location.

Mr Wallen’s defence lawyer Alan Phillips said his client has been remanded in custody since his arrest.

“We require a brief of evidence to be ordered, five weeks should give us significant time,” he said.

Magistrate Tracy Mossop adjourned the matter to Beenleigh Magistrates Court for mention on July 17.
