BEENLEIGH HIGH RISE TO KICKSTART ECONOMY
Fitstop is implementing its COVID-19 relaunch plan to reopen its doors on Saturday, June 6 for all 31 of its Queensland locations.
Fitstop CEO Peter Hull said Fitstop Cornubia had not wasted any time during the shutdown and had taken the opportunity to revamp the facility.
“Our members may not recognise the facility as we have used this time to give the Cornubia branch a fresh look, replacing the Astroturf and repainting to match our rebrand,” Mr Hull said.
“We have also used this time to deep clean the entire facility, including our equipment and flooring, and we have installed sanitisation and cleaning stations throughout the premises,” Mr Hull said.

Due to the reduced class sizes, members must secure their place in classes via the Fitstop App.
“Our sessions are always supervised so we are keeping our classes to a maximum of 18 people at one time,” Mr Hull said.
“We’ve also implemented strict facility cleaning protocols before and after each session to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.”
Fitstop has programmed its sessions to ease members back into working out and prevent injury.
“While many people have been trying to keep up their fitness throughout the lockdowns, home workouts don’t have the same intensity as those with the equipment you find in the gym,” Mr Hull said.
“We are looking to support our members as their rebuild their strength and get back on track to reaching their goals; the last thing anyone needs is an injury that sets them back even further.”
