Group armed with knives take cash in daring dawn raid on Pimpama servo

A police investigation is under way after a group, armed with knives, held up a petrol station at Pimpama south of Brisbane in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A police investigation is under way after a group armed with knives held up a petrol station at Pimpama in the early hours of Thursday, July 25.

Police said three masked offenders, armed with knives, smashed the front door of the business on Pimpama-Jacobs Well Rd.

Once inside, police said the offenders took cigarettes and the cash register.

The male store attendant was not injured during the incident.

The group then left the scene in a Black Audi Q5 and a Ford Fucs they stole from the attendant, police said.

Police are calling for dashcam footage or witnesses.
