Flood warning for Albert, Logan rivers after 150mm dumped in Carbrook, roads closed
More than 150mm of rain was dumped across the Logan and Albert catchments overnight with water over more than 30 roads and minor flooding expected this morning.

Logan City Council has listed 31 roads flooded in the area this morning with damage on Ripley Rd at Lyons; Undullah Rd; Begley Rd at Greenbank; and New Beith Rd.
Dairy Creek Rd at Waterford had started to clear after it was swamped last night.
Minor flooding is expected along the Albert River at Wolffdene this morning and may reach moderate flooding this afternoon at Beaudesert.
Widespread moderate to heavy rainfall totals of 30mm to 150mm were recorded across the Logan and Albert catchments, with an isolated heavier fall of 200mm at Carbrook on Riedel Rd since 9am Monday.
The heavy rainfall caused rapid river and creek level rises in the Logan and Albert rivers.
Last night Boundary and George streets in Beenleigh flooded with emergency services at both ends after a car got stuck in the water.
Both were opened this morning.
Early morning Clarks buses were not running through Clarks Rd due to flooding.
TransLink has not updated its site as at 6.40am and it was unknown whether all school buses would be affected.
Further showers and thunderstorms are possible for the catchment area today, which may lead to further small river level rises.
The Logan River at Beaudesert is currently at 5.07m below the minor flooding level but is rising. It is expected to exceed the minor flood level of 5.50m this morning with a minor flood peak is likely this afternoon.
The Logan River at Maclean Bridge was at 5.39 at 7am and rising.
Water was likely to reach the minor flood level at 10m tomorrow.
The Logan River at Waterford was at 1.85 metres below the minor flood level and rising. It is likely to remain below the minor flood level (6m) over the next few days, with small river level rises.
The Logan River at Parklands was at 1.29 metres and rising and may reach the minor flood level (2.50m) on Thursday morning, on the high tide.
Albert River:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Albert River.
The Albert River at Wolffdene was at 5.15 metres below minor and rising just before 7am. It was expected to exceed the minor flood level of 6m this morning.
The river level may reach the moderate flood level (8m) from Tuesday afternoon.
The Albert River at Beenleigh was at 2.07 metres (below minor) and rising. The Albert River at Beenleigh may reach the minor flood level (3.50m) Tuesday evening.
