Family and friends vow to never forget the man killed in a motorcycle crash at Crestmead

Tributes are pouring in for the motorcyclist killed in a crash at Logan overnight – his family say he “will never be forgotten”.

The mother of the 35-year-old man killed in a crash at Logan last night says her “heart is broken”.

Scott ‘Scotty’ Kevill was riding a motorcycle that collided with a truck at the corner of Magnesium Drive and Radium St at Crestmead at about 7pm yesterday.

Paramedics provided emergency assistance but he died a short time later.

Family and friends of the Park Ridge man have shared touching tributes on social media this morning.

“My heart’s broken,” his mother Cathy Kevill wrote on Facebook this morning.

Steve Kevill shared a photo of his brother writing: “ Rest In Peace my little bro, (you) will never be forgotten”

“Love (you) little bro. I honestly can’t believe it.

“Praying I’ll wake up for work and it’s all been a bad dream.”

The truck driver, a 52-year-old Flagstone man, was taken to Logan Hospital for treatment of shock.

The Forensic Crash Unit is still investigating the crash.
