Slight confusion for commuters on the Beenleigh line today with a few timetable changes including eight express services starting this morning as work ramps up on Cross River Rail stations.
The express services, which will remain in place for the next seven months, will run past Dutton Park and Fairfield stations with commuters at those stops told to catch alternative trains.
From today, at Dutton Park, there will be no 7.10am, 7.40am, 8.02am, 8.17am and 8.32am in the morning.
This afternoon, until March, trains leaving Central at 4.34pm, 4.57pm and 5.04pm will not stop at Dutton Park or at Fairfield.
The adjustments worked well for those who get on and off at Beenleigh with fewer stops and better express services at peak times.
