Heroic neighbours have helped a family safely escape a devastating house fire in Logan
A family of 11 are in need of urgent need of help from the community after narrowly escaping a house fire thanks to their heroic neighbours. The devastating blaze destroyed all their possessions and killed their beloved puppy.

A family has been left traumatised after losing everthing in a devastating fire just south of Brisbane this morning.
The family of 11, including nine children between the ages of two and 17, are in need of urgent help from the community after their house in Jacaranda Ave, Logan Central went up in flames this morning.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews were called out to the fire at 9.30am this morning, where they found the two-storey home engulfed in flames.
However, no one was hurt after their neighbours helped get everyone out safely.
A Facebook post is now doing the rounds to help the family after the blaze.
“This family of nine children and parents are safe however are understandably traumatised and have lost absolutely everything, including the loss of their family puppy,” Sirai Sirai posted on Facebook.
“They are the neighbours of our aunty Ivy Tafa Tuimavave, who thankfully was home with my uncle and cousin KJ to get the kids out.
“These kids adore aunty Ivy and she has opened her house to them and the community.
“She is already cooking, shopping for food and nappies, assisting police and doing everything she can to assis, including sharing this in the hopes of helping out also.”
Ms Sirai said the children urgenty needed clothing, shoes, nappies, food, blankets and pillows. “If you can assist please drop off to 126 Jacaranda Ave, Logan Central,” she said.
Logan House Fire Support Network was also called to help the residents.
It is the second major house fire in the area in the past week.
A 73-year-old Woodridge woman died when fire broke out in her Ewing Rd unit on Thursday last week.
