Dramatic police bodycam footage has captured a drug raid on a house south of Brisbane, where police allegedly found a shortened rifle, a stack of bank notes, cannabis and other drugs.
Police broke down the front door of Waterford property just after 7pm on Sunday before chasing a man into the back yard, tackling and cuffing him.
The Kenilworth Cres property had been under surveillance and after exercising a search warrant, police allegedly recovered a shortened rifle, taser torch, stolen motorcycle, drug utensils and more than $45,000 in bank notes.
An Yves St Laurent handbag was also confiscated.
A 28-year-old Waterford man was charged with drug and weapons offences and was remanded in custody to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court in September.
Footage from police body cam showed officers looking at bags allegedly containing 144g of methylamphetamine, 980g of cannabis, and 1.5l of gamma-butyrolactone.
The man was charged with unlawful possession of a motor vehicle and for failing to tell police the password to an electronic device.
He was also charged with having the proceeds from drug crimes and stolen property.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 26.
