Detectives charge six people with murder following disappearance of Corey Breton and Iuliana Triscaru in Logan

A woman and five men appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning charged with the murder of Logan pair Corey Breton, 28, and Iuliana Triscaru, 31.
The bodies of Mr Breton and Ms Triscaru were found in a Kingston dam this morning.
It is believed the bodies were found in a large steel box in the dam on Mudgee St, Kingston.
Ngatokoona Maretti, 36, Tuhirangi-Thomas Tahiata, 24, Webbstar Latu, 31, Davy Malu Junior Taiao, 21, Stou Daniels, 21, and Trent Michael Thrupp, 22, each fronted court on two murder charges.
Taiao also is charged with possession of methylamphetamines.
The six were unable to apply for bail and each was remanded in custody with their cases adjourned until March 21. They were not required to appear on that date.

The discovery follows police charging six people with murder following an investigation into the disappearance of the two.
Two men were arrested after police intercepted a vehicle on the Gateway Motorway at Belmont just before 5pm yesterday. Police allegedly located a quantity of methylamphetamine during a search of the vehicle.

A search operation conducted by specialist police will be continuing today at a location off Mudgee Street, Kingston.
A 24-year-old Logan Central man, a 36-year-old Crestmead woman, a 31-year-old Crestmead man, a 21-year-old Kingston man, a 22-year-old man of no fixed address and a 21-year-old Slacks Creek man have all been charged with two counts of murder. The Slacks Creek man has also been charged with one count of possessing a dangerous drug.
They are all expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
