A 20-year-old plumbing apprentice from Logan caught using Snapchat to sell drugs and offer personal deliveries has been placed on probation.

Anton Corbett was supplying cannabis, diazepam, alprazolam in street-level quantities on nine occasions between June 30 and September 28 last year.

He pleaded guilty to 14 charges including supplying dangerous drugs and possessing dangerous drugs in district court in Beenleigh on Thursday.

The court heard Corbett used Snapchat to tell people about the drugs he had available and even offered to deliver them.

He announced he had cannabis available for purchase and provided a price list with ounces for $50 or 1.2 grams for $25 on September 28, 2019

A user responded to the offend and asked to purchase cannabis and he supplied it to her.

Police executed a search warrant of his residence and found 8-9 grams of cannabis in clip seal bags, a phone, a pair of digital scales, two glass pipes and two capsules of Viagra on September 28, 2020.

Corbett’s lawyer told the court he had started to mix with a bad crowd of people and get mixed up in drugs after left home and was living on the streets for a brief period in 2019.

Judge Craig Chowdhury sentenced him to 18 months probation.
