A MAN has been charged after the alleged attack on a man on Lamb Island in Moreton
Bay this morning.
A 55-year-old Macleay Island man was charged with acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm and obstructing police after father of three Scott Pilton suffered life-threatening facial injuries at a home on the island.
Police say emergency services were called to a home at Perulpa Dve on the Moreton Bay island about 1am.
The 48-year-old alleged victim was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The accused has been denied bail and will appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
