At 1pm today, expect an unpleasantly warm and humid day, with a dew point of 22.4. It is likely to feel like 28.8 with a relative humidity of 71 per cent.

The highest expected temperature today is 30, which is 1 degree higher than yesterday's max.

Warmer conditions are expected on four of the next six days, with the mercury climbing above today's maximum on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.

Experts suggest looking for shade and avoiding sun exposure around noon. General advice is to take all precautions such as using eye protection, sunscreen and covering up.

Winds will be southeast around 11 km/h in the morning shifting to east-southeast around 14 km/h in the afternoon.
