McDonalds to sell hand sanitiser with all proceeds going to charity
Australian McDonald’s stores have added a much sought after product to their menu that’s been hard to find in supermarkets, but you’d be best try not to eat it.

STARTING today, hungry punters will start to see a new addition to McDonald’s famous menu – although you can’t eat this new product.
Following on from last month’s announcement that McDonald’s would begin stocking bread, milk and eggs as part of their new ‘convenience’ menu, the beloved chain will now be offering 50mL hand sanitiser bottles for the public to purchase.

They will cost $3.50 a bottle and all money raised will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The hand sanitiser can be purchased in-store or via the drive through.
McDonald’s Australia marketing director Jo Feeney said that the RMHC is an important aspect of their efforts to give back to the community.
“At Macca’s, we’re privileged to be able to play an active role in supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities. It’s an incredible charity that plays a vital role in keeping families close during their times of need,” she said,
“This week, we’ve added bottles of hand sanitiser to our convenience menu, and will be donating 100 per cent of the profits from the sanitiser directly to RMHC.
“The funds raised through this initiative will support RMHC programs right across the country.”
