Motorists travelling on one of Brisbane’s major motorways can expect heavy delays this morning, following two separate crashes within minutes of each other.
A logjam of traffic on the Logan Motorway between Larapinta and Browns Plains and onto the Mount Lindesay Highway at Browns Plains has been created by the two crashes.
Two stable patients have been transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the corner of Browns Plains Road and Mount Lindesay Highway at 5.45am.
A QAS spokesperson said the vehicles are in the middle of the busy road.
A QPS spokesperson said the tow trucks have arrived on scene just minutes ago to take the damaged vehicles away.
Paramedics were also called to a two-vehicle crash at Larapinta, on the Logan Motorway westbound near paradise Road at 5.50am.
No patients required treatment or transport, with one woman making her own arrangements to hospital.
