Brisbane crime: Kuraby man charged with 35 fraud offences
Police say a Brisbane man stole the identities of friends, family and co-workers to try and secure more than $1.2m dollars.

A 30-year-old Brisbane southside man has been charged with more than 50 offences, including 35 counts of fraud and attempted fraud, after detectives arrested him yesterday.
Police say the Kuraby man, who was arrested at Valley Cct, stole the identities of family, friends and work colleagues to fraudulently apply for loans and credit cards, obtaining $65,000 and attempting to secure a further $1.2 million.

They say the offences occurred throughout the past year.
The man was charged with 23 counts of fraud, 12 counts of attempted fraud, 13 counts of obtaining identification information and one count each of forgery, utter and possession of dangerous drug (anabolic steroid).
He will appear in the Richlands Magistrates court later this morning.
