A young man from Logan is fighting for his life in hospital after falling from a moving car at the weekend, in a dangerous growing trend.

Police have revealed the Logan youth now in a critical condition after falling from a moving vehicle over the weekend was car surfing.
Police said the Bethania man, 20, fell from the Subaru Forester while it was travelling on Eagle Dr at Eagleby about 11pm Saturday night.
He suffered significant head injuries and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Police have now revealed the 20-year-old was holding onto the roof racks and clinging to the boot of the car when he fell.
It is understood he has undergone surgery, but he remains in a critical condition, with doctors unsure of whether he will survive.
Police said the driver of the vehicle, a 19-year-old Slacks Creek man, was assisting officers with the investigation.
No charges have been laid.
Car surfing has risen in popularity in Logan recently, with police confirming a youth had already died from the deadly fad in an unrelated incident at Jimboomba this year.
