Brisbane Grammar and Girls Grammar schools were each named on the back of outstanding years while other high achievers included St Aidan’s, Sunshine Coast Grammar and St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School.

More than 27,000 students received an ATAR online this morning with 25 per cent awarded an ATAR of 90 or above, while the entire cohort’s median ATAR coming in at 79.20.

While the state government provides a small snapshot of overall performance, unlike previous years it will not release individual school performance data.
