The analysis involves the newest data ranging between 2018 and 2022.

A Queensland Education spokesman said public schools across the state have been “appropriately funded” for students to access learning regardless of their location.

The amount of state and federal funding is impacted by factors such as location, the number of attending students and staffing needs, available programs and the size of the school facilities, the spokesman said.

The figures include all fees, charges and parental contributions as well as state and federal government funding and any other private sources over the five years from 2018 to 2022.

It does not include any deductions for capital works or debt servicing.

The analysis does not include special schools or schools that did not have complete financial data in MySchool for one or more of the five years.
