Revealed: Queensland’s top 80 teachers

There have been 84 finalists selected for the Queensland College of Teacher’s TEACHX awards, from almost 350 nominated teachers. SEE THE FULL LIST

School curriculum ‘cluttered’ with ‘woke nonsense’

The 84 teacher nominees for the annual Queensland College of Teachers’ (QCT) TEACHX awards have been revealed from all across Queensland.

With a whopping 349 initial nominations that detailed the incredible teaching through out the state’s schools, the list was narrowed down to just 84 ahead of the finalists in October.

Queensland College of Teachers Acting Director Deb Jones said being short-listed for a TEACHX Award was an incredible achievement.

“The TEACHX Awards continue to recognise the work of outstanding educators and their positive impact on students.

“From those at the beginning stages of their careers, to experienced teachers in leadership positions, the calibre of this year’s finalists is truly impressive.”

From this list, the Queensland Teacher’s College judges will now select 31 recipients across the six award categories (five per category, and one winner for the Excellence in Teacher Education Award category).
