QLD’s cutest cats: 53 photos of fabulous felines

When we asked readers to send us pictures of their cutest cats, we were overwhelmed with the response. Picking our favourites from the thousands of fabulous feline photos was no easy task. Did your cat make the list?

WHEN The Courier-Mail and Quest Community News put out a call for Brisbane’s cutest cat, thousands of people sent us photos of their purr-fect pet.

There were cats in boxes and fruit bowls, old cats, kittens, rescue cats, cats that look like lions, cats wearing scarfs, antlers and bow ties, fluffy cats, not-so fluffy cats, cats looking unimpressed at having their photo taken, colourful cats, cats who sit funny, lots of lounging and sleeping cats and even a rogue dog. (Phew, what a meow-ful!)

We loved every adorable whisker and toe bean.

To share that fluffy love, we’ve compiled a gallery of the top 53 cutest cats in Queensland — we meant to do 50 but there were so many paw-fectly cute kitties we just couldn’t leave them out.
