Construction of a new tower in the heart of Palm Beach will begin in the new year.
The Palm Shores tower from developer 5Point Projects will rise on a 824 sqm site on Jefferson Ave, just south of 11th Ave.
5Point director Damian Dove said building was expected to be completed in October 2026, when the first residents will move in.
“Palm Shores is more than just a new project, it embodies our dedication to crafting the ultimate coastal lifestyle for the most discerning buyers,” he said.
“We are excited by the remarkable growth of Palm Beach and are thrilled to contribute to its evolution. This project not only reflects our commitment to luxury but also our enthusiasm for the area’s dynamic future.”
Work on the tower comes as developers continue to ramp up projects around the Gold Coast Highway section of Palm Beach along the future route of the light rail.
Gordon Corp and the Mathieson family lodged plans with the Gold Coast City Council in September to build a nine-storey tower in central Palm Beach on a Jefferson Lane site, which is home to the Samuel Plaza shopping centre.
The site had been part of a deceased estate and had not changed hands in nearly 40 years.
Meanwhile BKA Holdings lodged plans for EST, a 14-storey twin tower project fronting the Gold Coast Highway.
It will replace a BWS, Maries Pizza and other commercial buildings as well as a single house, which will all be demolished.
