An epic acreage property just outside of Mackay has been listed for sale, and it could blow the regions record sales price out of the water.

Situated on over eight acres, the property has spectacular 180 degree views from Lindeman Island in the north to Hay Point in the south.
The house has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, and is being sold fully furnished.
Features include a cinema, separate kids’ area, a large office, C Bus, SONOS, a full security system, and satellite NBN, plus a full-sized tennis court, huge outdoor entertaining areas and stunning resort-style pool.
The property has around five acres that are fully fenced with retaining walls, and has two driveway access points, fruit trees, and a fully integrated generator.
There is also two large sheds, perfect for storing a boat or caravan.
It is listed with Mark Beale of Ray White Whitsundays.
Property records show the residence is owned by former Best Tractor Parts owner and local rich-lister Greg Murphy and wife Agnieszka Barszczewska.
The couple bought the property for $950,000, and knocked down the existing house before building the stunning hilltop residence.
Mr Beale said the house was listed for sale with price expectations of around $6 million.
“That would be a record breaker for residential property in the Mackay region,” Mr Beale said.
Mr Beale said the current owners were selling as they had relocated to Mandalay and spent most of their time now in the Whitsundays.
“It is a house that has everything,” Mr Beale said. “If you had a property wishlist, this one has everything.”
The property was listed for sale on Tuesday, with Mr Beale saying there had already been a number of inquiries from southeast Queensland.
He said there was also plenty of local money in the region thanks to the construction and mining sector.
