A PAIR of residential houses on Chevron Island is set to be dramatically redeveloped into a high-rise which, if built, will be among the tallest ever built on the Island.
Chevron Development Group has filed plans for a 24-storey tower on Parneno St, which will feature 78 units.

It comes as developer Siera Group unveils plans for Tapestry, a “sculptural” 17-storey residential tower for a 1518sq m Darrambal street site.
The tower, which will have 83 two and three-bedroom units, is being pitched as a ‘cultural continuation’ of the nearby Home of the Arts (HOTA) precinct.
Siera Group managing director, Brent Thompson said Chevron Island had changed dramatically in recent years.

“The community has soul and this is what attracted us most to this part of the Gold Coast.
