TIM Simona’s dangerous throw on Gold Coast’s Aiden Sezer is going to cost him a Test jersey.

The Wests Tigers centre has taken the early guilty plea over the tackle in Sunday’s 22-6 loss to the Titans, and been outed for two weeks by the NRL match review committee.

The first of Simona’s two matches will be this weekend’s Test at Sportingbet Stadium in Penrith, where he would have played for Samoa against Fiji.

He’ll then only miss one match for the Tigers, before returning for their trip to Remondis Stadium to play Cronulla on May 17.

Gold Coast hooker Paul Carter is pleading not guilty to a careless high tackle on David Nofoaluma from the same game.

The son of Penrith premiership winner Steve Carter will now head to the judiciary on Wednesday night and contest the charge, choosing not to enter an early guilty plea that would have seen him escape suspension.

If he is found guilty by the judiciary he will be banned for one match.

Canberra’s Brett White and the Tigers’ Bodene Thompson are both free to play in their side’s next game after taking early guilty pleas.
