Donald Trump says he has no problem making details of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients public and denied ever going to the convicted paedophile’s private island.

Donald Trump vowed to release the client list of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell if he wins the presidency.

In a lengthy podcast interview with Lex Fridman, Mr Trump repeated his promise to release classified documents on the assassination of John F Kennedy and the Pentagon’s secret files on UFOs.

When asked about the client list of the convicted paedophile, Mr Trump said he had no problem making the details public.

“I never went to his island, fortunately, but a lot of people did … A lot of big people went to that island,” Mr Trump said.

“It’s very interesting, isn’t it? It probably will be [released]. I’d certainly take a look at it.”

It comes after the former president vowed to establish an independent presidential commission on assassination attempts, announced as part of his alliance with Robert F Kennedy Jr, whose father was also killed.

Mr Trump had planned on releasing the files during his first term but held off after he said he was begged not to make them public.

“Now Kennedy is interesting because it was so many years ago. They do that for danger too. Because it endangers certain people,” he said.

“So Kennedy is very different from the Epstein thing, but yeah I’d be inclined to do. Epstein I’d have no problem with it.”

Donald Trump broke his silence on the “incident” at Arlington National Cemetery after the anniversary of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan became a major flashpoint in the presidential election.

After a week-long stoush between the Harris and Trump campaigns over what happened at the cemetery, the former president came out to claim it was a political stunt to distract from the deaths of 13 soldiers three years ago.

“There was no conflict or ’fighting’ at Arlington National Cemetery last week. It was a made up story by Comrade Kamala and her misinformation squad,” Mr Trump said in an all-caps laden social media post.

“She made it all up to make up for the fact that she and Sleepy Joe have BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS for the INCOMPETENT AFGHANISTAN Withdrawal – THE MOST EMBARRASSING DAY IN U.S. HISTORY!!!”

The precise events of the “incident” have been disputed by the two campaigns, the Gold Star families that invited Mr Trump, the US Army and the cemetery itself.

After Kamala Harris penned a lengthy Twitter/X post criticising Mr Trump, eight families of the 13 soldiers killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal sent video messages blasting the vice president for politicising the deaths.

The flashpoint was seen as a major unforced error for the Harris campaign at a time Trump begins to regain momentum in the polls.

“They should have been at Arlington, not on a beach or studying for a Debate. Thank you to my friends, the GREAT GOLD STAR FAMILIES, for revealing the TRUTH OF A BEAUTIFUL DAY OF HONOR,” Mr Trump said on Truth Social.

“Could not have been a nicer moment – And there were no fights or problems, only in the heads of those that are destroying our Country!”.

TRUMP PLEADING NOT GUILTY TO REVISED 2020 ELECTION CHARGES

Donald Trump is to plead not guilty to the charges in a revised indictment accusing him of seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 US presidential election, according to a court filing.

Mr Trump, in a filing with the US District Court in Washington, waived his right to be present at his arraignment on the charges and instructed his lawyers to plead not guilty.

Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a new indictment of the Republican White House candidate last week on the charges that he tried to subvert the results of the election he lost to Democrat Joe Biden.

The superseding indictment retains the same four charges against Trump as in an earlier version but takes into account a recent Supreme Court ruling that a former president has broad immunity from criminal prosecution.

District Judge Tanya Chutkan granted Trump’s request not to appear in person at the arraignment and said it will be held at the same time as a status conference in the case on Thursday local time.

The new indictment of the 78-year-old Mr Trump removes material affected by the presidential immunity ruling from the conservative-dominated top court.

It retains the same core, stating that Mr Trump lost in 2020 but “was determined to remain in power” and attempted to subvert the results.

Donald Trump claims to have plans that are “guaranteed” to end the deadly war in Ukraine, but will only reveal them if he wins the US presidential election in November.

The former president said the Ukraine crisis could spiral into “a third world war,” and that several global hot spots are boiling because “America has no leadership.”

“If I win, as president elect, I’ll have a deal made, guaranteed. That’s a war that shouldn’t have happened,” Trump said.

“I have a very exacting plan how to stop Ukraine and Russia, And I have a certain idea — maybe not a plan, but an idea — for China,” he added.

“But I can’t give you those plans, because if I give you those plans, I’m not going to be able to use them, they’ll be very unsuccessful. You know, part of it’s surprise, right?”
