Emergency crews have responded to a two-vehicle crash near Bluewater on the Bruce Highway.

Queensland Police were called to the scene just after midday on Monday after reports of a crash involving two vehicles near the intersection of the Bruce Highway and John Brewer Drive at the turn-off to Toolakea Beach Road.

Emergency services attended the scene and found one vehicle had rolled off the road onto its side.

There are no reports of any injuries and all occupants of both cars are out of their vehicles.

It is not known how many occupants were in each vehicle.

Queensland Police advised both lanes of the Bruce Highway are open.

Woman in hospital after dog attack

A woman in her 20s was taken to Townsville University Hospital on Sunday night after being bitten by a dog.

Emergency services were called to a private residence in Oonoonba at 11:56pm.

The woman, who was in a stable condition, was taken to hospital where she was treated for ‘non life-threatening’ injuries to her arm and leg.
