Woman found dead and man seriously injured at Crown Casino Perth
The woman was found dead at a hotel attached to a Crown Casino complex, while a man has also been rushed to hospital.

A woman has been found dead at a luxury hotel within Perth’s Crown Casino complex.
WA Police were called to Crown Towers about 11.10am Monday, where the body of the woman aged in her 30s was found in a hotel room.
A man, aged in his 40s, was also found in the room with serious self-inflicted injuries.
He was taken into custody before being rushed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
“It is believed both parties are known to each other,” a WA Police spokesperson said in a statement.
“Inquiries in relation to the circumstances surrounding the death remain ongoing.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online.”
Police officers could be seen around the Crown complex for much of Monday afternoon.
“We can confirm police responded to an incident at Crown Towers Perth earlier today,” a Crown Resorts spokesperson said.
“Our team are assisting WA Police with their investigation, and we are supporting our team members.”
Crown Towers has been at the site since December 2016, and was touted as Perth’s first “six star” hotel.
It’s one of three hotels at the Burswood precinct, east of Perth’s CBD, along with Crown Metropol and Crown Promenade.
